Frequently Asked Questions

  • At Modern Motion, we operate on a cash-based model, meaning we don’t bill insurance directly. This allows us to focus on your health—not insurance restrictions—and provide truly personalized, one-on-one care.

    Why cash-based care?
By stepping outside the insurance system, we can:

    • Offer longer, more comprehensive appointments

    • Use the latest, evidence-based treatments (not just what insurance approves)

    • Be fully transparent with pricing—no surprise bills or hidden costs

    Other payment options
We provide superbills upon request so you can submit for possible reimbursement from your insurance. You can also pay using HSA/FSA cards, credit, debit, cash, or check at the time of service.

    Medicare
Due to federal billing regulations, we are not able to see Medicare patients at this time. If you are Medicare-enrolled, we’re happy to recommend trusted local providers.

  • No referral is needed. Chiropractors are considered portal-of-entry providers, meaning you can schedule an appointment directly without a physician’s referral.

That said, we’re always happy to collaborate with your primary care doctor or specialist to ensure your care is coordinated and comprehensive.

  • The number of treatments varies for each person depending on your condition, the severity of your symptoms, and how your body responds to care. There’s no one-size-fits-all plan—each treatment plan is custom-designed around your specific goals and needs.

Most patients notice improvement within the first few visits, but lasting results often require a series of treatments that build on one another. Chronic or long-standing issues may take more time to fully correct.

Our goal is always to help you improve efficiently while creating results that last. We regularly reassess your progress and adjust your plan as needed—and we’ll never require large, upfront payments for care.

  • At Modern Motion Chiropractic, we value your time and strive to provide quality, one-on-one care for every patient. Late cancellations and missed appointments make it difficult to offer that same level of care to others in need.

To keep our schedule fair and accessible for all patients:

    • A card on file is required to reserve an appointment.

    • Cancellations within 12 hours of your scheduled visit will be charged 50% of the service fee.

    • No-shows or last-minute cancellations (within 1 hour) will be charged the full appointment fee.

    • For longer appointments (30+ minutes), please provide 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation charge.

We understand life happens—emergencies, illness, or weather delays will always be considered.

If you need to make changes to your appointment, please call or text (440) 661-3719 as soon as possible.
